Depression can be defined as the state of mind that exhausts not only your mind but also the mental well being. The role of vitamins is quite interesting in curing depression and keeping it at bay.
Empirical researches have revealed that there are vitamins that are very useful in treating clinical depression.
Various studies have inspired doctors and psychiatrists to promote vitamin-rich food supplements in patients with mild and severe depression such as bipolar syndrome, schizophrenia and even personality disorders.

Vitamin C and Vitamin E in Depression:

Intake of niacin causes chemical changes that boost memory and regulates sex hormone.
Vitamin B6 or Pyridoxine:
Pyridoxine or vitamin B6 converts nutrients to energy and facilitates molding of enzymes. This helps in producing melatonin, serotonin and dopamine. Vitamin B6 leads to unbalanced immunity and mental chaos.
Other Vitamin B Complex:
Vitamin B3 and Vitamin B12 are also beneficial in treating cognitive disorders. The entire vitamin B is effective in curing depression and is highly recommended in the diet of individuals suffering from mild to severe depression disorders.
